Any one else use soundforge?

Postby gan9e on Thu Sep 11, 2014 6:33 am

It's been around for years, used by gaming developers... I've used it for years and wondered if I could ask about samples for the ESX1, wav mono 44.1 not so heavy on the bit rate, am I right? if this can read wavs do I need to render them as .esx files also? and if so... how? I heard there's a free bit of software which you can drag & drop your fresh samples onto your SD card and it'll make the .esx for you and thus esx-ready for a more instant and playable format? I dunno.. looking around the forums I can't find anything nor on-line so please advise if you know, cheers

Here you go sir,

One thing worth mentioning is that keeping most of your samples short and mono (unless they have to be stereo) is a must for the ESX due to a small amount of real estate.
