man, i haven't played my 360 in awhile. i guess that this is proof that i'm not really addicted to video games.
i do miss some rainbow six vegas tho...

here's a question: if you could BE the soundtrack to any video game, which one would you pick?

(sorry, i pick duke nukem)

Ha! I was seriously addicted to the xbox and 360 (mostly sports games, but some shooters like Splinter Cell, CoD4, etc). Then I bought a Kaossilator early 2008 and the addiction stopped...I still play the odd NHL09 game here and there. I wouldn't mind being(?) the soundtrack for Bioshock2! Something real dark...and underwatery, lol.

hehe need for speed 5, porsche unleashed (the best racing game of all time and I've beat every game in the series with high scores starting with The Need For Speed in the nineties)......

Uhm actually..... running the "Time to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of gum" sample could come in handy for a duke3d track :-D

Google up GL Duke, it's a modification of the duke nukem engine which puts it into TRUE 3d via opengl, you get true pespective and truly 3d models using what's called "voxels" aka 3d pixels.... it's pretty groovy for all you hardcore oldschool duke 3d veterans.

I'd pick Half Life 2. There isn't much music, but when there is it's really good.

i would pick fallout 3, even if it isn't electronic music, it is the best game soundtrack i've heard in years.

it is so good that i downloaded it for listening to it when i am not playing

My favorite games for electronic music were Frequency and Amplitude on the PS2. These were Harmonix's first games prior to the Guitar Hero, Rock Band juggernaughts, more or less using the same kind of gameplay...but the tunes were more electronic rather than guitar based. Some really good tunes in there. I got rid of my PS2 years ago, but I wouldn't mind playing these two games again!
