Audio Interface decision time

I'm loking to get an audio interface to enable me to integrate my laptop more fully into my setup. I found this one, it seemed to be a reasonable choice:

Cheers guys thanks for the link there. Think I'm probably gonna go ahead and get this one, my main constraint being that the only spare slot I have is a firewire one!! Will let y'all know if it goes well/poorly.

Is this for a DAW or a lap top? If it's for your studio machine, usually your motherboard will come with at least one extra USB header.... it probably even came with an extra one in the box if you put the machine together ... if not go to a used computer parts store and pick up one of these:


And now you have two more usb ports

As far as firewire goes..... I've heard nothing but great things about the presonus firebox and firestudios....... the common thing I hear is something along the lines of.... "it just works".....
