I know at least TrondC uses Reaper, so I thought I'd share their new version numbering scheme starting with v3.14:

Here's what I was referring to in my post, as it's not clear from the link unless you scroll down:

haha cool :)

Actually, I smashed my laptop recently. or, it wasn't on purpose, but I just had the worst fight of my life with my gf...over skype... and when she hung up I threw my fist forward...and smashed the screen :p
so, the good news was that I now bought a new one where all specs are atleast 2x what my old one did, and for much less than my old lappy cost me 2 years ago..
but, and here comes the point: I think I lost Reaper along with all the files, and NO, I didn't make a backup, probably because I am a combination of lazy and stupid.. :p

no idea where I'm going with this story...probably that I love Reaper, but now that it's gone, and I have the dough, I am seriously considering another DAW.... But I think I know I'll just get Reaper again because I truly really hate to learn new things when I know reaper as well as I do (for my needs anyway..) ;)

so, version Pi seems cool ;)

Ouch! Last time I had a fight with my wife, the closest object was the fridge! I ended up in the hospital with a broken hand (boxer's fracture) and left a nice dent in the fridge....I wish I was closer to a laptop!!!

You don't need to re-purchase Reaper by the way. Just DL and re-enter your license info. If you lost it with your laptop just email them and they will send you back the info I think. By the way, I've been looking at other DAW's and for recording (not performance) I think Reaper is the King. Anyway good luck!

cool :) I couldn't find any info about my reaper purchase anywhere, but I'll gladly pay those $50 one more time, just because it's a steal at that price ;)

and I did box a fridge myself once, or actually, repeatedly, while drunk and at a party. not being upset or anything, I just loved the dents it made :gunz:
and you're an (ex)boxer? we should spar some day, I'm an (ex) taekwon-do'er, but with a busted knee so I've been out for half a year, looking to start kickboxing when I recover :D

Lol, no I'm not a boxer. But a fractured my small knucle on that fridge hitting it on an angle, and they called it a "boxer's fracture", so you know I got all the "pain" without any of the "fame"
