If you're on Chrome, r-click + "open link in new tab" will do the trick (without changing the standard way links work for everyone else). I'm sure Firefox and IE have something similar, but I haven't used those in months.

Yes all browsers allow opening in a new tab/window by right clicking on the link.

The reason I have this feature disabled is because most browsers also come with a pop up blocker.... and it's a lot more of a pain in the ass to unblock popups for the site then it is to right click->open in new window/tab :-D

If you really want this feature I'd be willing to take a vote with the rest of the forum but... it seems safer to not do it at least to me.

What do the rest of you think?

I'm using Firefox and the key command for that is Ctrl click. I believe there is a difference between opening a regular new browser window and opening a pop-up window. So that wouldn't be a problem. But I could be wrong, and if that's the case, it's not hard to change the settings so that links are opened in a new tab instead of a whole new window. All the major browsers support tabs.

Well, I don't know. Maybe I'm the only one. ;)

Well you gotta realize that the electribe community is small, and is falling apart due to no new machines. There are a few hardcore electribers left but overall there are more people leaving then coming in.

Not sure how extinct we are...I mean there are 45000+ units out there (and I'm only counting E*X machines). They might not be the latest and greatest, but far from being obsolete dinosaurs.

I still think Korg got the workflow part just right (as opposed to let's say the Roly MC-808 and SP-x0x and what have you, although the 808 kills the tribes in pure sound quality....but now i'm rambling)

So... Where do we recruit new members? I'd love some fresh blood on the 'tribe forum! I guess Korg Forum is emptied...?

Hmm Yat:
You gotta also consider all the units that are dead. I have owned three with one of them dead completely.

There is a pretty high percentage of dead units.

Borg:
Korg doesn't really have a forum. korgforums.com isn't made by korg. I do believe this is the most active electribe forum. The only other places are the few people on livepa and the electribe tribe on tribe.net.. that's pretty much it.
