It seems to be a tie between us hseiken, but if you want me too, I'll see if I can dig up a sample pack. Just not sure where and how to find usefull samples

Usefulness is up to the participant, really.

For instance, a lot of my hip hop stuff now I don't sample anything specifically for any purpose. I literally scan a track and randomly select little 10 second snippets. When it comes to actually putting them together, that's where the magic starts happening, where I figure out how to make things work...

As long as you have one or two samples with a tone, you're golden. I've seen competitions where the only thing you have to work with is a single sine wave.

LOL, congrats guys, you could also consider it a tie since Skinny split his votes over two tunes. Anyway, I hope I can partake on the next one, but I've been working like a fucking dog the past month or so, which is a good thing I guess given today's economy but I'm getting quite fed up staring at my work laptop 12 hours a day.

Hey, I'm too busy as of late to make packs and participate in battles (you probably noticed lack of tunes from me lately)...

So hopefully you're not waiting on me to do a sample pack...I will DEFINITELY be pretty much AWOL around here until about April. Long story short, I'm in the Navy and sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!
