ES2 - Osc Audio-In? What is this?

Anyome know what the OSC menu's Audio-In is and how to use it? The manyal explains audio-in global parameter but not the OSC. one user mentioned recording perfect external loops using midi out Some korgMX folks say you can apply live fx to your audio in. I tried, still experimenting. Thx

Holy geez I hope you've gotten this figured out by now, but here goes:

Audio-In is for processing live audio input feed without recording it; it's like an FX pedal that you can rhythmically "gate" (allow sound in or not), run through FX and the filter. You use the Oscillator Edit knob to control the input gain as well.

Hi yes I did figure it out after a while, and it seems to be one of its great features. I have read that some users are using it exclusively for this feature... very cool, but haven't seen many videos of this yet..
