Chiptunes

I made some Chiptunes on my Korg EMX, here a preview recorded with Audiacity:

Armor of God:
To view the player you must have Javascript turned on and have Flash Player 9 or better installed.

What do you think of it? And anyone knows how to fix this interrupts on pattern switch? They happen occasionally on my unit on specific settings, its not
from recording.

(this player only lets me post one track :( )

Good stuff, cool to hear new styles on the machine.

For the interrupts...I would opt towards using track mutes rather than pattern switches to minimize that anomaly. The ESX does the same thing...so it's better if there's not much change between patterns (i.e. one has drums, one doesn't, play same pattern twice, one has drums muted).

Yeah, surprisingly the EMX as a "Dance producer" is capable of doing many other genres. I like it a lot, though I'm only working with it in my
freetime and not as pro musician.
It's hard to go without pattern switches and only muting on and off parts. I'm already squeezing in as much as possible in the 5 synth parts and
without it variations of sound and for example transposing single parts is not doable.
I suspect the effects and notes with longer gatetime towards the end of a pattern causing these interrupts...

Here the other work:
Tear05: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/48841340/Korg%20Emx%20-%20Tear05%20%28Preview%29.mp3 (can't use mp3 player without overwriting the one above ??)

Some older projects (with help of midi):
Comic Bakery: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYa1pizMOZI (embedded youtube not working either ?)
Donkey Kong: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSaOvAsl_Jw

Very cool! This tune has a vintage video game sound to it that I'm totally digging.

nice! can you share the dump of your pattern ? I am really curious about the arpeggio, did you generate it using another midi device or tediously by hand ?

I typed every note and gatetime by hand. :yup:
I was thinking of providing my Chiptunes pattern anyway when I got bank A full (I'm at A49 or something).

That embedded player isn't working... any chance you have a link to that track elsewhere?
