These are some tracks from my last release I played at the SOCO festival in Montevideo, sharing stage with Kanding Ray (Fr) and Christina Nemec (At).
I only used an Electribe ESX (as with the whole album), connected via MIDI to the VJ's laptop which controlled the lights.

Dude you make some weird music! :-D I like it a lot. Crazy time signatures too.

Sun-Dog is an amazing track!

Wow man! Thanks!! I'm glad you like it, since you are the all-time Electribe Master lol!

Yes , I pushed myself to try and get the oddest polyrhythms possible from the ESX...
Doing some weird math while programming sequences.

Now I am in the new quest of mantaining the rhythmic madness but with a better sound and
more air. I put together a new sample set with only waveforms (couple secs long each)
and use the ESX as a synth. I also added some chords to have some polyphony.

As for the composing method, I program single patterns and the record in Ableton part by part while tweaking a bit
and using the ribbon. Then I edit the audio tracks and create the structure. The keyboard parts are
sequenced in Ableton to achieve more variations in time, and then also recorded in audio. Then mixing and mastering.

You should probably know that I haven't touched the tribes in years :). I'm all Ableton now.

Listening to your album again loudly. I listened to it at 1am so it was quiet. Cool shyte man, keep doing it!
