Its great that you're going ahead with these videos- you're discussing all those little ideas we've had while looking at what the ESX can do, but never really gotten around to doing. By explaining it clearly as you do, it really validates what the sampler's all about.

Thanks again!

The infinite potential to squeeze and coax some truly amazing sounds out of seemingly random and otherwise ordinary sample sources is simply phenomenal. I never really explored all of the possibilities on the ESX via single cycle waveforms-but the last 3 or 4 months I've been amassing a pretty mean collection of SCW's from random sources, this video offers a really good rundown. Thanks for sharing

I always recommend a good source for awesome sounding single cycle waveform samples is from the Cakewalk Rapture synth. They have a huge selection including some phat ass analogue sine!

Seriously I really enjoyed those when I was playing tribes.

Here we go:

I got them from an old version of rapture I had laying around. I figured the vst is obsolete since it don't work in windows 7 so I'll post them. There's also some LFO waveforms which make some crazy sounds ;)

Nice. Thanks Ruso, these work well in Simpler too. I spent some time in using Massive a few weeks to make some single cycle waves. Simpler uses a lot less CPU than Massive. If I get some time I'll try to post some of the better ones on here.
