You mentioned in the video using shift to mute sections. What is this? I use part mute and solo. Is there another trick?

If you hold shift while muting/soloing, you can do entire sections at once, i.e. drums, keyboard parts, stretch. I am not sure this is covered in the manual.

Its covered in the EMX manual.. but its easy to miss.

I actually stumbled across it by accident then later checked in the manual to see if it was an "official feature"
Now I use it extensively.

hold shift+part mute, press a drum part thats lit(unmuted) : mutes all drum parts
hold shift+part mute, press a drum part that is no lit (muted) : unmutes all drum parts

same for synth parts.

hold shift+ solo, press a drum part thats not lit (muted) : unmutes all drum parts and mutes synth parts (solos drum parts)

not 100% sure about the rest of how solo+shift works. will update once I'm sure
