Creating Morphing/Evolving Synths on the ESX

Hello everyone,
I recently dreamed this up and hopefully it helps or inspires others. I created and sampled a long evolving synth bass sound on my Animoog app. I then pitch shift it up 1 octave in Ableton to make it half the length to save memory on the ESX. Then on the ESX I choose that nice 10 second long, pitch it back down to its original 20 seconds.
Now when programming bass lines I can use the sample start point to "choose" which bass sound I want for each note. I can now create complextro style synth patterns which are not one static tone.
