Wicked New Player!!!!

Thanks to all that have donated recently, I have used the funds to purchase a licence for a wonderful mp3 player...

I spent half a day today skinning it and now it's all ready to go and working!

I need to program a feature into the board now to make it so you can prevent people from downloading the original (at least very easily).

Pretty cool....I like the design and the cool volume control.

.....I was checking out the music section though and I noticed that the tracks were switched around in my thread. No big deal, or anything, it's just that I noticed that "set adrift" became "The beach"!!

Wow, ya very interesting catch... had to code a couple of little hacks to fix it... :-D

What it was doing is creating three html elements with the same name... and trying to stick all three codes for each of the three players into them.... but since they were all named the same it was doing it three times into the same element...

Anyway all fixed now :)

So I've been working with my host to figure out another pretty serious issue.... it seems as though right now any upload that takes longer than about a minute will time out and keep bouncing back to post message page........

No matter what I do (even custom php.ini) for some reason php keeps overwriting anything I tell it for the timeout value...

Anyway... if all else fails I am contaminating removing the normal attachment feature and using one of those spiffy flash uploads with a nice progress bar.... but this is a pretty big project and I am not sure if I have enough time for it right now.

Just out of curiosity, do you know what the problem was?

I've been through this before, and the first thing that came to mind (which I think is what you mentioned earlier) is the upload_max_filesize setting in php.ini

Was that what you were referring to earlier?

Anywho, biggups on the player, looks great :)

yes!

here's my php.ini which I put into the same directory as phpbb and also the include folder inside the phpbb folder:
php.ini

I was trying to put in bigger numbers for the timeouts but they were too high so php would override it....

Harrumph! Since everyone else is impressed with it, I guess I have to be the one negative, right? Sigh ... I'll step up, then. It sucks. Doesn't have the sound of the old one. Not as warm. Too digital. Ummm ... what are some of the other reasons I shouldn't like it?
