What Electribes have you got?

Postby tom thurs on Fri May 16, 2008 12:56 am

I'm pretty new to Electribes but in the last 5 months I've got a EA1 mk2 (my first synth) and a ES1 Mk1 (my first sampler).
The EA1's a bit limited but if you mess about for a while you can get some nice sounds, I think it's better at bass than higher notes.
The ES1 is brilliant and I don't think I have fully uncovered everything. I got it £120 too!

Right now I've got an ESX and an EM-1. I have previously owned an EMX, EA1 MKII, an ER1, an EA1, and an ES1. Needless to say, I love the Electribes.

Right now, the ESX-1 is my baby. I'm also pretty new to this tribing thing, but I have sought for it quite a while! The next tribe I'd like to have is the EA-1/-mkII, very much because of this. It just blew me away. Not even in my wildest dreams could I imagine the EA-1 doing stuff like this.

Hello,

First posting on this forum (great idea by the way!)

I have an EM-1 at the moment. My intention at some point is to add another electribe, most likely an EMX - although I am intrigued by the ESX...

i think i've had my esx for about a year, and i love the thing. constantly finding new tricks on it. i really want to get an emx to sit next to it though, it was a tough choice in the store on what i wanted, but i also have a mk so i figured i'd be set on the synth part for a bit... but one day... i'll have them together... and they'll make little noise babies.

I use an Emx. Love to use it solo or season a song with some Electribe spice. If I wrote EBM
All I would need is an EMX and an ESX and I'd be set. Great little synths sounds you can get. Just have to work at it a little.

i am new to this and have an emx1. I'd like to add a sampler, but I am not sure, which one to get. I'd also like to add a waldorf blofeld to the setup, and control it via the emx1 synth parts, but right now thats all too expensive :(

I've had an ER-1 since it first came out, and recently bought an EMX-1 when I needed a break from software based music. Loads of fun, kicking myself for not getting one sooner as I've always been a huge fan of 'grooveboxes'.
